O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2022 seeking for sanction of computation of pension and DCRG amount alleged to be due to the petitioner along with interest, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Mrs.N.Devi, learned Standing Counsel accepts notice on behalf of the first respondent and Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the second respondent.
3. The petitioner contends that she was allowed to retire from service under the Voluntary Retirement Scheme on 02.11.2020. The petitioner also contends that the computation of pension and DCRG is urgently required for her medical treatment. According to her, till date, computation of pension and DCRG amount has not been paid to her. In such circumstances, she has given a representation on 23.09.2022 for the said purpose. Since the 2/6
said representation has not been considered till date, she has filed this writ petition.
4. Heard Mr.T.Ranganathan, learned counsel for the petitioner, Mrs.N.Devi, learned standing counsel appearing for the first respondent and Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, Additional Government Pleader appearing for the second respondent.
5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the first respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 23.09.2022 seeking for sanction of computation of pension and DCRG amount, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
