ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction, directing the respondent to register the FIR on the complaint lodged by 1/4

the petitioner dated 20.04.2017, as directed by the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kodumudi in Crl.M.P.No.3896 of 2017 dated 17.11.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Initially, the petitioner lodged a complaint before the respondent and the same was not considered. Therefore, the petitioner was constrained to file a complaint before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kodumudi, under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C. By an order dated 17.11.2017, the respondent was directed to conduct an enquiry and submit a report. However, so far the respondent has failed to conduct any enquiry or register an FIR.

4. In view of the above, the respondent is directed to register an FIR as against the accused persons in the light of the order passed by the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kodumudi in Crl.M.P.No.3896 of 2017, dated 17.11.2017.

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
