O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed alleging wilful disobedience of the Order passed by this Court in a batch of cases in W.P.No.14491 of 2021 and others dated 15.07.2021.

2. The Petitioner in the Contempt Petition is the Petitioner in W.P.No.14502 of 2021. This Court by Order dated 15.07.2021 has passed the following order in the said Writ Petition:- "5. This Court, considering the limited scope of prayer sought for by the petitioners and without going into the merits of the claim made by them either in these writ petitions or in their respective representations, directs the respondents 1 to 3 to consider and dispose of the petitioners' representations dated 01.10.2020 ; 31.03.2021 ; 23.04.2021 ; 23.04.2021 and 16.06.2021 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioners herein."

3. At the time when the Contempt Petition was listed on the first

occasion, this Court directed to list the matter for reporting compliance. Accordingly, learned Special Government Pleader, has produced before this Court a communication that was addressed to the Petitioner in W.P.No.14502 of 2021 informing the Petitioner that his request to regularise his service in accordance with G.O.Ms.No.22 Personnel and Administrative Department dated 28.02.2006 and G.O.Ms.No.74 Personnel Administrative Department dated 27.06.2013 is not feasible for acceptance.

4. The Respondent in their communication has given the reasons for rejecting the request of the Petitioner. Since this Court has not given any positive direction to pass order in favour of the Petitioner in the Writ Petition, this Court finds no disobedience. The order now communicated to the Petitioner is in compliance with the direction of this Court. Hence, recording the compliance, this Contempt Petition is closed. 30.03.2023 Index : Yes/No Internet : Yes/No ggs
