ORDER

This contempt petition has been filed for the alleged disobedience of the orders of this Court dated 15.09.2022 made in W.P.No.24704 of 2022.

By order dated 15.09.2022, this Court recorded the stand taken by the respondents through the Additional Government Pleader that, the road in question would be laid and it would be completed within one month period, despite that, according to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, road laying work has not been completed, therefore it is the violation, according to the petitioner, hence the preset contempt petition has been moved.

However, Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents 1, 2 & 4, who has taken notice for the official respondents, has submitted on instruction that, the road laying work already commenced and 90% of the work is over and the remaining work also would be over at the most within a further period of 30 days from today.

4. In view of the said stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader for the official respondents, recording the same, this Court feels that, no further persuasive action is required in this contempt petition, hence this Contempt Petition is closed. 23.01.2023 Index : Yes / No Speaking Order : Yes / No Sgl 3/3
