Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of mandamus, to direct the respondent to consider the representation dated 22.4.2015 given by the petitioner praying to provide any employment on compassionate grounds in place of the petitioner father late Mr.L.Govindan, who was employed under respondent as Listed Maistry, Regd.No.1061 and was removed from service w.e.f. 20.05.1997 under medical unfit.

The relief sought for in this writ petition is for a direction to the respondent to consider the representation submitted by the writ petitioner on 22.4.2015, in respect of the claim of compassionate appointment.

2.However, the learned counsel appearing for the respondent made a submission that an application for seeking compassionate appointment was originally submitted by the writ petitioner on 23.12.2004, the same was considered and an order was passed on 23.03.2005 and the same was communicated to the petitioner. However, the writ petitioner has not chosen to challenge the said order. Thus, the question of once again considering the writ petition does not arise at all.

required on the grounds raised in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, no order as to costs.
