ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct THE XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate Saidapet to conduct speedy trial in C.C.No.2271 of 2024 and dispose the case.

Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. It is the specific contention of the petitioner that the since the complaint had been preferred for violation of section 10[1] of Online Gambling and Regulation of Online Games Act, 2022, the delay in adjudication would severely affect not only the object of the Act but also public confidence in the regulatory enforcement. Hence, seeks a direction for speedy disposal of the case in C.C.No.2271 of 2024.
3. Considering facts and circumstances of the case, the learned XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai directed to expedite trial in C.C.No.2271 of 2024 and dispose the case expeditiously.
