No. M/4/38341/ 2018 issued by the 4th respondent for grant of patta and correction of revenue records by removing the entry "held over" in respect of petitioner's land measuring 68.5 cents comprised in O.S.No.641, new S.No.306/1, Kottaram East Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari district and consequently direct the respondent authorities to grant patta to the petitioner, within a time to be fixed by this court.

O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed for direction to the respondent authorities 1 and 2 to pass immediate orders on the detailed report dated 26.04.2024 Ref. Lr. No. M/4/38341/ 2018 issued by the 4th respondent for grant of patta and correction of revenue records by removing the entry "held over" in respect of petitioner's land measuring 68.5 cents comprised in O.S.No.641, new S.No.306/1, Kottaram East Village, Agasteeswaram Taluk, Kanyakumari district and consequently to direct the respondent authorities to grant patta to the petitioner, within 2/4

a time to be fixed by this court.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the first respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the detailed report dated 26.04.2024 in Ref. Lr. No. M/4/38341/ 2018 issued by the 4th respondent and, after issuance of notice to the petitioner & counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of personal hearing, to pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of this order. 3.

With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
