This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking for a direction to the first respondent/Collector to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2017 submitted by the petitioner, not to prevent the petitioner from working in the Anganvadi Centre at No.416, Sonakuppam-2.
2. According to the writ petitioner, she was appointed as "Anganwadi Worker" by the first respondent/Collector, Cuddalore, vide Na.Ka.No.1607/A1/2017, dated 19.09.2017. Based upon the appointment order, she joined duty as "Anganwadi Worker" on 22.09.2017 in the Anganwadi Centre at No.416, Sonakuppam-2. Subsequently, she continued to work till 03.10.2017. Thereafter, the Supervisor of the Anganvadi Centre specifically prevented her from signing the attendance https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Register and asked her not to work in the Anganvadi Centre, as per the order of the Higher Officials, the supervisor not to allow her to work in the aforesaid Centre. However, she made a representation to the first respondent/Collector during People's Grievance Redressal Camp conducted by the first respondent/Collector on 20.10.2017, but the first respondent/Collector has not taken any steps in this regard so far. Hence, the writ petitioner has come forward with the present writ petition before this Court.
3. Neither counter affidavit has been filed by the first respondent nor any instructions as furnished to the learned Additional Government Pleader.
4. Heard Mr.J.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that if any such representation being made by the writ petitioner, dated 20.10.2017 and the same shall be considered in accordance with law.
5. Considering the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, in view of the aforesaid representation submitted by the writ petitioner is pending before the first respondent/Collector, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible within a period of eight weeks
