O R D E R

The civil revision petition seeks for expeditious disposal of O.S.No.649 of 2022 on the file of the learned I Additional District Judge at Tiruvallur.

2. When the matter came up for admission on 24.10.2024, I called for a report from the learned Judge as to how long he requires to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.649 of 2022. The learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge at Tiruvallur has submitted a report stating that the said suit has been referred to the Lok Adalath on 09.03.2024 & 06.04.2024. As the matter was not settled before the Lok Adalath, it has been returned and now the suit is posted for framing of issues on 20.11.2024. Therefore, the learned Judge requests six months time to dispose of the suit.

3. Taking into consideration the report of the learned Judge, there shall be a direction to the learned I Additional District and Sessions Judge at Tiruvallur to dispose of the suit in O.S.No.649 of 2022 within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

4. Accordingly, the civil revision petition stands ordered. There shall be no order as to costs.
