ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the final report filed by the first respondent in Spl.SC.No.13/2025 pending on the file of the Sessions Judge, Special Court Villupuram for Exclusive Trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act.

2. The contention of the petitioner is that even if the final report in entirety is taken, no offence is made out as against the petitioner. It is his further contention that the case has been initiated only as a counter blast to avoid repayment or civil liability. Hence, seeks to quash the case in Spl.C.C.No.13 of 2025 pending on the file of the Sessions Judge, Special Court Villupuram for Exclusive Trial of cases registered under SC/ST (POA) Act.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that in this case already P.W.1 to P.W.5 have been examined and the case is posted for cross examination of the witnesses on 28.08.2025 and hence, seeks for dismissal of this petition.

4. In view of the fact that substantial evidence has already come on record, at this stage, this Court cannot interfere with the final report.
