By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.The petitioner is the father of minor.M.Joycee who is studying first year MBBS at Jalal-Abad State University at Kyrgyzstan Republic and she applied for educational loan of Rs.16,00,000/- to pursue her studies and since no response is forthcoming, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the said medical institution is a Government Educational Institution of the Kyrgyzstan Republic listed by Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan Republic and it is also enlisted in the world directory of medical school published by World Health Organisation in collaboration with the World Federation of Medical Education and Foundation for Advancement of International Medical Education and Research and https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
since the petitioner has fulfilled all the necessary criteria, the respondent has no impediment to sanction the educational loan.
4.Per contra, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that the respondent has sent a letter dated 13.04.2016, to the petitioner as well as to his daughter asking for certain particulars and as and when the particulars are furnished, the application for educational loan submitted by the petitioner will be processed in accordance with the relevant norms and regulations.
5.This Court has considered the rival submissions and also perused the materials placed before it.
6.The respondent has addressed a letter dated 13.04.2016, in letter no.SBI-KORATTI/2016-17/11 to the petitioner as well as to his daughter calling for certain particulars and as and when the petitioner furnish the said particulars, the respondent shall process the application for educational loan submitted by the petitioner, if the papers are otherwise in order and pass appropriate orders, within a period of eight weeks from the date of furnishing of the said particulars and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner.
