By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

The petitioner has come up with the present writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondents to forthwith consider and pass orders on his representation dated 21.1.2015 submitted for conducting the Science Book Fair and Aqua Marine Cum Trade Fair at Outer Ground No.46, Fort Ground, Vellore for 71 days between 5.4.2016 to 15.6.2016 in accordance with the order dated 1.3.2016 issued on 3.3.2016 made in F.No.17/12/2015/M issued by the first respondent.

It is the case of the petitioner that he has applied for permission to conduct a Science Book Fair and Aqua Marine Cum Trade Fair at Outer Ground No.46, Fort Ground, Vellore, for 71 days between 5.4.2016 to 15.6.2016 by submitting an application dated 21.1.2015 before the second respondent. The said application was duly received by the second respondent. In this regard, the first respondent has also issued an order dated 1.3.2016 in F.No.17/12/2015/M authorizing the second respondent to accord necessary permission to the parties concerned as per the seniority list maintained by him. But, till date, the application of the petitioner was not considered. Hence, the petition.
4. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who has taken notice on behalf of the respondents.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the submissions made on either side, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the application of the petitioner dated 21.1.2015 seeking permission to conduct the Science Book Fair and Aqua Marine Cum Trade Fair at Outer Ground No.46, Fort Ground, Vellore for 71 days between 5.4.2016 to 15.6.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law and in the light of the order of the first respondent dated 1.3.2016 issued on 3.3.2016 in F.No.17/12/2015/M, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed
of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
