ORDER

The petitioners made representations on 20.02.2015, 03.04.2015 and 18.07.2015 seeking transfer of patta with respect to the property in S.F.No.805/1A situated at Kalapatti East Village, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore.

2. It is the case of the petitioners that acquisition proceedings have been quashed by this Court in W.P.No.5208 of 2008 and the same has become final. Therefore, the 2nd respondent will have to make necessary entries in the revenue records in favour of the petitioners.

3. Considering the above, writ petition stands disposed of by directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the pending representations made by the petitioners dated 20.02.2015, 03.04.2015 and 18.07.2015 on merits and in accordance with law after affording opportunity to the petitioners as well as the Tamil Nadu Housing and Urban Development Department within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
