This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to accept the nomination of the petitioner and conduct the society's election for the post of Director in the MD - 572, Adambakkam Aavin Consumer Co-operative Society with the time limit from by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for petitioner is not present. But however 2/5

the writ petition filed in the nature of the mandamus directing the respondents to accept the nomination of the petitioner to participate in the election of the Tamil Nadu Adampakkam Aavin Consumer Cooperative Society for the election which were scheduled to be held in the year 2018. The period has long since passed by. Even if examined it would be of no avail and the issue has becomes infructuous. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
