ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.2974 of 2016 on the file of XVII Metropolitan Magistrate Court, Saidapet, Chennai against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 406, 420, 423, 424, 425, 477A, 499 and 500 IPC.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that there was some money dispute arose between the petitioner and the respondent/defacto complainant herein. He further submitted that the complaint filed under Section 200 r/w 190 CrPC., pending before the XVII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, has been withdrawn by the de-facto complainant, therefore, the relief sought for by the petitioner has now become infructous.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition and hence, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
