O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking to modify the condition imposed in Crl.M.P.No.3646 of 2025 dated 22.05.2025, that "the petitioners/accused shall report and sign before the respondent police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders" on the file of the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Cuddalore District, Cuddalore.

2. Though bail was granted to the petitioners on condition to report before the respondent police, they did not comply with the condition, firstly in view of detention under Goondas Act, and secondly out of fear that, if the petitioners appear before the respondent police, they may again be foisted with criminal cases.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that the petitioners are ready to report before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Portonovo, Cuddalore District, where the case is pending. 2/4

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court modifies the above condition to the effect that "the petitioners/accused shall report before the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Portonovo, daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders".
