ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram to conduct speedy trial of C.C.No.165 of 2015 on day to
day basis and dispose the same within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.
2. The petitioner is the defacto complainant in the case in C.C.No.165 of 2015. The respondents 2 to 5 are accused 1 to 4 in the above case facing trial for the alleged offences under sections 498-A, 406, 323 and 506[ii] of IPC. In the above case, the petitioner has been Chief examined in part and thereafter there is no progress in the trial and the accused are not cooperating with the trial and on most of the hearing dates, the accused are absent and Non Bailable Warrants had been issued against them and the first respondent is not taking any steps to execute the warrant issued against the accused. Hence, seeks a direction to the trial Court to expedite trial and dispose the case within the time frame fixed by this Court.
3. Considering the fact that the case is pending from the year 2015, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Tambaram shall expedite trial and ensure that the
case in C.C.No.165 of 2015 is disposed of expeditiously without any further delay.
4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
