The Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent Police not to arrest the petitioner in Crime No.245 of 2025. 2.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that under the pretext of enquiry, the respondent Police are unnecessarily harassing the petitioner. 1/3

The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), on instructions, submitted that on the complaint given by the de facto complaint, the petitioner was called only for enquiry and now, a case in Crime No.245 of 2025 was registered under Section 290 & 125 (a) BNS on 17.04.2025.

Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record. 5.

Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, since the First Information Report has already been registered in Crime No.245 of 2025, this Court directs the respondent Police not to harass the petitioner in the name of repeatedly calling him for enquiry. 6.

Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of. 21.08.2025 ham To 1.
