Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the first respondent to take the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 29.03.2022 and to decide the plea of limitation and to decide the same on merits.

ORDER

(Made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) Heard Ms.N.Gowri, learned counsel appearing for Mr.G.Ilamurugu, learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The petitioner seeks a limited prayer, that is to decide the application bearing S.A.No.380 of 2022 filed before the Debts Recovery Tribunal, Coimbatore. The same is pending since the year 2022.

3. We are not aware of the number of matters pending before the said Debts Recovery Tribunal. The petitioner may make an application before the concerned Debts Recovery Tribunal to decide the securitisation application filed by the petitioner expeditiously. If such an application is filed, the Debts Recovery Tribunal shall consider the said application and endeavour to decide the matter expeditiously.

4. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
