O R D E R

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to respondents to consider his representation dated 10.07.2024 seeking identification of the property acquired by the Highways Department.

2. Accordingly to the petitioner, the properties situated in Survey No.16/2 at Puthur Village, Vengambakkam Main Road, Chennai-600 126 originally belonged to his mother namely Mrs.Rahmathunnisa and a portion of the said property was acquired by Highways Department. The remaining property was allotted to petitioner's share in the family partition that had taken place subsequent to the death of petitioner's mother. Thus, claiming absolute right over the remaining property, the petitioner submitted a representation before the respondents on 10.07.2024 seeking identification of the property acquired by Highways Department. The said representation has not been considered till date. Hence, he is before this Court. 2/4

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader, who is taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3, submits that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its' own merits within a time fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the same, without going into the merits of the claim made by the petitioner, this Court is inclined to issue direction to the 3rd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 10.07.2024 and pass final orders on its' own merits within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
