Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider petitioner's representation dated 9.11.2016 and direct the second respondent to take appropriate action against the fourth respondent and consequently to cancel the auctioning of Hundi of the Presiding Deity and Sanctum and Sanctorium of Suyambhu Andavar Temple, 7th Hills, Semmedu Post, Perur Taluk, Coimbatore to the 5th respondent.

ORDER

(Order of the court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The petitioner is challenging the auctioning of Hundial and the same, it appears, was for a limited period from 02.02.2017 to 31.01.2018. The period is over.

2. On 08.06.2023 when the matter was called out, none appeared for the petitioner. The matter was kept today. Today also none appears for the petitioner. With the passage of time, the relief also may not survive.

3. The writ petition, as such, is dismissed. There will be no order as to costs.
