Writ Petition filed under Section 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, pleased to issue Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, praying to call for the records pertaining to proceedings of the 5 th respondent in Voo. Ka.No. 12 dated 28.08.2023 rejecting the petitioner's Application for Name Transfer of Property tax assessment for the property owned by the Petitioner in S.No.455/1B measuring 4 Acres 83 Cents with building thereon and the property in S.No. 470/4 measuring 0 Acre 97.68 cents of Land together with building thereon, both situated at Nanjundapuram Village, Coimbatore North Taluk and District and quash the same and consequently direct the 5 th respondent to assess the property tax and Transfer the property Tax Assessment in to the petitioner's
name and to receive the property tax for the above referred property in the petitioner's name.

ORDER
Though larger relief has been sought for in the present writ petition, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the tenure of the 5 th respondent/Panchayat President was got over on 05.01.2025 and hence, liberty may be granted to make fresh representation for name transfer before the 4 th respondent, who is the authority at present. 2.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without going into the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to the petitioner to make fresh representation before the 4 th respondent for name transfer. In such case, the 4 th respondent is directed
