This application has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, seeking extension of time for the arbitrator to pronounce the arbitral award for a period of six months.

2. Notice sent to the respondent has been duly served by e-mail. The Affidavit of Service enclosing the delivery report has been filed. No one has entered appearance on behalf of the respondent. Hence, the respondent is set exparte by this Court.

3. This Court is also satisfied with the reasons contained in the affidavit filed in support of this application as sufficient cause has been shown by the applicant for seeking extension. Accordingly, this application is allowed as prayed for by granting extension of time for the Page No.1 of 3
