It is seen from records that the learned counsel who was appearing for the petitioner had given Change of Vakalat and has informed this Court about the same when the matter came up for hearing on 22.04.2021. Thereafter the matter was again posted for hearing on 04.08.2021 and even on that date, the petitioner had not engaged any counsel to prosecute their case.
2. The case was again posted on 23.08.2021 and even on that date, the learned counsel who was appearing for the petitioner mentioned that their name must be removed from the cause list since they have given Change of Vakalat long back. Therefore, this Court directed the name of the petitioner to be printed in the cause list.
3. Even when the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner and the name of the petitioner has also been printed in the cause list. In view of the same, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
