The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail in Crime No.181 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 399 & 402 of IPC and Section 25(1)(a) of Arms Act and Section 4 of Explosive Substance Act, 1908.

2. It is stated that the accused persons were in possession of lethal weapons. The respondent police had reached the spot and found, several persons were escaping in the dark. Under those circumstances, FIR had been registered.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that based on the confession around, the petitioner has been implicated in this case. It is also stated that some of the accused had been arrested and released on bail and as a matter of fact, condition had also been relaxed.

4. However, on the side of the respondent, it is stated that there are two previous cases pending against the petitioner among which, one is similar in nature and another one is a case of robbery. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
