ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to file the final report in accordance with law in connection with Cr.No.461 of 2021 on the file of the respondent.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that for the case in counter, the charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner on the complaint given by one Sivagami in Crime No.461 of 2021; however, the complaint given by the petitioner is still pending for enquiry and the charge sheet has also not been filed so far.
4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that on the complaint given by the petitioner, the enquiry will be completed and charge sheet will be filed shortly.
5. It is needless to state that in the case in counter, as per the police standing order, both the cases should be taken up for simultaneous investigation in order to sort out the grievances. Since the respondent has not complied the mandatory standing order given in the Police Standing Order 566(2), I feel it is appropriate to direct the respondent police to
complete the investigation on the complaint given by the petitioner and do the needful in accordance with law within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
