This criminal original petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in C.C.No.63 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ariyalur for the offences under sections 498 [A], 109 and 506[i] IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that the case in C.C.No.63 of 2017 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.I, Ariyalur has ended in acquittal on 11.02.2020 and hence, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

3. Recording the aforesaid submission of the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side), this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
