The petitioners have filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to grant them Special time Scale as per G.O.Ms.No.385, dated 01.10.2010, with all consequential service and monitory benefits as sought for in the representation dated 29.06.2017.
2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents fairly submitted that the case of the petitioners would be considered in the light of G.O.Ms.No.385, dated 01.10.2010 and appropriate orders would be passed on merits, within a reasonable time frame. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, this Court directs 7/9
the respondents to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 29.06.2017, on merits and in accordance with law and in the light of G.O.Ms.No.385, dated 01.10.2010, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
