ORDER
Heard the learned counsels, appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the respondents.
This writ petition has been filed, praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to initiate action, pursuant to the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 29.4.2015, expeditiously.
It has been stated that the son of the petitioner, namely, Deenadayalan, who was a Diploma holder in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, was working with M/s.N.K.Chemicals Private Limited, Singapore. However, he had died, on 29.3.2012, under mysterious https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
circumstances. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition, praying for a direction to the respondents, to reopen the case relating to the death of her son and to conduct a fresh enquiry, with regard to the same.
At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the second and the third respondents had placed before this Court a communication issued by the Principal Secretary / Commissioner of Rehabilitation and Welfare of Non-Resident Tamils, Chennai, dated 22.3.2016, stating that the State Government has requested the Protector General of Emigrants, Ministry of Overseas Indian Affairs, New Delhi, to move the Indian Mission to re-open the case of late Deenadayalan, son of the petitioner herein, and to get the properties, belonging to the deceased Indian Migrant from the Indian Mission, Singapore. It has been further stated that a detailed Fax / Email had already been sent in this regard.
In such circumstances, this court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
