ORDER

This Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner/father under Sections 3, 7 to 10 and 25 of the Guardians and Wards Act, 1890, seeking appointment of himself as guardian of the person of the minor female child, Chinmayi, born on 30.08.2018, and for permanent custody of the minor child. 2.

The petitioner, Vishnupriyan, is the father of the minor child and the respondent, Poornima, is the mother. The marriage between the parties was solemnized on 12.11.2014. Out of the said wedlock, the minor child Chinmayi was born on 30.08.2018.

During the pendency of the proceedings, both parties have settled the dispute between themselves and entered into a Memorandum of Understanding dated 12.10.2025.

As per Clause 5(a) of the Memorandum of Understanding dated 12.10.2025, the petitioner/father has agreed to permit the respondent/mother to act as guardian of the minor child, Chinmai, and to take decisions relating to the welfare and upbringing of the minor child.

In view of Clause 5(a) of the Memorandum of Understanding dated 12.10.2025, this Original Petition is disposed of by recording the said settlement. Clause 5(a) of the Memorandum of Understanding dated 12.10.2025 shall form part and parcel of this order. No costs. Consequently, all the connected applications are closed.
