This petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to alter the offence under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, 307 & 506(ii) IPC instead of Sections 341, 394(b), 323 & 506(i) of IPC in Crime No.274 of 2019 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Madhavaram Milk Colony Police Station, Chennai District. 2.On the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an FIR was registered in Crime No.274 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 341, 294(b), 324, 307 & 506(ii) of IPC. Now, the petitioner seeks to alter the FIR for the offences under Sections 341, 394(b), 323 & 506(i) of IPC.

3.On investigation, if the respondent police finds any material available to constitute the offence under Section 307 of IPC, as sought by the petitioner, the respondent is directed to alter the FIR accordingly.
