ORDER

This petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to call for the records pertaining to the selection process for non-hereditary trustees to Arulmigu Badrakali Amman Temple by the 4th respondent in Sa.Mu.Na.Ka.No.1833/2023/A3 dated 26.04.2023 and quash the same and also all further proceedings thereof and further direct the 1st respondent to

initiate the selection process for non-hereditary trustees to Arulmigu Badra Kali Amman Temple in terms of Section 47 of the Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Act, 1959 and to dispose the application of the petitioners submitted in pursuance of the above said notification.

2. When the present Writ Petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the trustee period is already over and thereby pleaded to close the Writ Petition.

3. Considering the submission of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the trustee period is already over, this Writ Petition is closed, as nothing survives for further adjudication.
