The petitioner had made a representation on 09.08.2022 to the respondent/Tahsildar, Kundrathur Taluk, seeking Class II Legal Heir Certificate of Mrs. K. Rani, sister of the mother of the petitioner. 1/4

2. It is stated by the learned counsel that Mrs. K. Rani and her husband Kolanthan had no children. Kolanthan had pre-deceased her. Therefore, the petiitoner had sent an representation seeking legal heirship certificate.

3. A direction is given to the respondent/Tahsildhar, Kundrathur Taluk, to issue notice to the petitioner and enquire the petitioner. If online application is required, the petitioner is directed to make necessary application through online. The respondent, if satisfied shall grant legal heirship certificate and if not satisfied, pass necessary orders giving reasons for rejection. However, an order must be passed and that order should be passed on or before 21.02.2023.
