ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the 1st & 2nd respondents to take further action on the petitioner's husband complaint in CSR No.181 of 2022, dated 30.07.2022 and to investigate the same. 2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's husband one Raghunathan was doing Diesel Agency business in the name and style of "Velankanni Annai Pump" and leased out the same to the third respondent on 24.07.2019. When they leased out the said diesel pump to the third respondent, they also handed over the current account book related to the pump, maintained in the State Bank of India, Valparai Branch, to the third respondent.

Under this circumstances, after 8 years, it came to know that one Satheesh, who was an employee in the petitioner's estate during 2013-2014, had stolen some of the cheques and by misusing the cheque, transferred a sum of Rs.9,50,000/- to his account. Therefore, the petitioner's husband had lodged a complaint before the respondent police on 14.07.2022 and they issued a CSR No.181 of 2022 dated 30.07.2022. Thereafter, there is no progress in this case. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3.The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner's husband, the respondent police issued a CSR No.181 of 2022. After enquiry, the respondent police closed the complaint as civil in nature and the closure report also sent to the petitioner. In the meanwhile, the petitioner's husband also given an undertaking that they will approach the Civil Court for appropriate remedy.

4. Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (crl.side), this Writ Petition is closed with a liberty to the petitioner to workout his remedy by approaching appropriate forum. No costs. 17.11.2022 Internet:Yes/No Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non speaking order shk 3/4
