This petition has been filed to call for the records in M.C.No.12 of 2016/A2 dated 26.12.2016 now pending on the file of the first respondent (The Revenue Divisional Officer-cum-Sub Divisional Executive Magistrate, Nagapattinam District). 2.

The petitioner filed this petition to challenge the proceedings issued against him under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. The said notice was issued in the month of December, 2016. The period for the proceedings under Section 107 of Cr.P.C. is only https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for one year. Now, almost three years and six months have been lapsed and hence, the prayer sought for by the petitioner become infructuous.

3. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
