Mr.R.P.Murugan Raja, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage, itself.

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus to direct the respondents to make necessary entries in the revenue records regarding the details of sub division number, area, type of lane etc., between S.No.1008/19 and S.No.1008/21 in Chinnasalem Village by considering the petitioner's applications dated 05.05.2023 and 04.09.2023 respectively. Pg.Nos.2/5

3. Heard the learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Advocate for the respondents and perused the records available on records.

4. The learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that even though the writ petitioner sent applications dated 05.05.2023 and 04.09.2023 seeking to make necessary entries in the revenue records regarding the details of sub division number, area, type of lane etc., between S.No.1008/19 and S.No.1008/21 in Chinnasalem Village, till date, the respondents have not passed any order on the same. Hence, the present writ petition has been presented in this Court on 03.10.2023.

5. The learned Government Advocate fairly submits that the said applications may be considered by the respondents and decide the matter on merits and in accordance with law.

6. Therefore, without expressing any view on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of, by directing the respondents to consider the applications of the writ petitioner dated 05.05.2023 and 04.09.2023 and to Pg.Nos.3/5

pass appropriate orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
