..Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the order of the second respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.No.11113/A1 2004 dated 07.10.2004 and quash the same and direct the first respondent to promote the petitioner as Physical Director Grade I in the third respondent School w.e.f. 15.10.2004 the date on which the fourth respondent was appointed on transfer.

When this matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that since the writ petitioner is seeking a direction to direct the first respondent to promote him as Physical Director Grade I in the third respondent School, he was given promotion to the said post and he served in the promotional post and later on retired from service.

2.Recording the submission of the learned Additional Government Pleader and accepting the same by the learned counsel for the petitioner, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
