Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to produce the body of the detenu, namely, Ashok, Son of Sanjeevan, aged about 26 years before this Court and set him at liberty forthwith, by calling for the records pertaining to the detention order in S.C.No.15 of 2019 dated 27.09.2019 passed by the second respondent, quash the same as illegal, incompetent and ultravires.

O R D E R

[Order of this Court was made by R.SUBBIAH,J.] Petitioner is the wife of the detenu, namely, Ashok, S/o.Sanjeevan, who has been branded as "Goonda" under Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and detained under orders of the second 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

respondent passed in S.C.No.15 of 2019 dated 27.09.2019. Such order is under challenge herein.

2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for respondents, would submit that the detention order passed by the second respondent as against the husband of the petitioner, dated 27.09.2019 has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4918, dated 29.11.2019 and he has also produced a copy of the said order.

3. In view of the above, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as it has become infructuous.
