The petition has been filed seeking bail in connection with Crime No.650 of 2013.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioner and submitted that the petitioner is not cooperating with the progress of the trial. Hence, the trial could not be completed. He further submitted that the case is listed today for examination o PW.2 and PW.11.

Considering the fact that the case has been pending for more than 11 years, before the trial Court even after committal and the petitioner is indulging in dilatory tactics to protract the trial, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
