ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No. 6 of 2022 on the file of the second respondent police and to file the final report.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the second respondent has registered a case in Crime No. 6 of 2022, no final report has been filed till date. Hence, the present petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents would submit that based on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, the second respondent has registered the FIR in Crime No. 6 of 2022, in which, investigation is under progress. Hence, he seeks three months time to file a final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court.

4. Recording the same, the second respondent police is directed to file final report before the Jurisdictional Magistrate Court, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the defacto complainant.
