The petitioner/A2 seeks bail in Crime No.527 of 2023 registered by the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 21(b), 27(a) & 29(1) of NDPS Act, and he had been arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 30.07.2023.

2. It is stated that the petitioner was found in possession of 140 TYDOL-100 drug pills, which is totally (140x100 mg) 14 gms. It is also stated that the said contraband is a commercial quantity and the same had been recovered from the petitioner.

3. On the side of the respondent it it stated that the forensic report is still awaited.

4. Though the petitioner had been in custody from 30.07.2023 since investigation had not been completed, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the criminal original petition stands dismissed.
