This petition has been filed to call for the records and quash the FIR No.452 of 2008 dated 25.07.2008 pending investigation on the file of the 1st respondent police.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submitted that the case itself has ended in acquittal by judgment dated 01.10.2018, made in C.C.No.72 of 2018, on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Poonamallee.

3. In view of the above, nothing survives in this Criminal Original Petition and the same is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
