ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.624 of 2024 and file the final report before the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chengalpet, within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

2. The contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner had filed a petition in Cr.M.P.No.369 of 2024 under section 156[3] of Cr.P.C. and the said petition has been allowed. Despite the direction of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Chengalpet, the respondent had not registered the First Information Report. Only after filing of a petition in Crl.O.P.No.24393 f 2024, the First Information Report has been registered in Crime No.624 of 2024. Now after registration of the First Information Report, there is no

progress in the investigation. Hence, seeks a direction to the respondents to file the final report before the Magistrate concerned.

3. The learned Government Advocate [Criminal Side] on instructions submitted that the investigation is almost completed and final report will be filed within a period of two months.

4. In view of the above submissions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to file the final report within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order. 29-08-2025 Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes vrc
