This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to expedite the investigation in Crime No.4 of 2025 pending on the file of the respondent police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submitted that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant/petitioner, a case in crime No.4 of 2025 for the offences under Sections 6 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 , 678(a) of Information Technology(Amendment) Act 2008 and 506(i) IPC has been registered. After investigation, final report has been filed before the learned XII Metropolitan Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Board, Kellys, Chennai on 05.05.2025 and the same is yet to be numbered. 2/4
