The Writ Petition (Criminal) has been filed seeking a direction to the fourth respondent to conclude the investigation in C.No.467/DC-CCBTCP/Gen1/2024 dated 06.11.2024 within a stipulated time. 2.
Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 to 5.

It is the grievance of the petitioner that, based on the complaint given by him alleging that fraudulent entries regarding registration of unauthorized sale deeds have been made in the encumbrance certificate relating to his land in Survey No.7/3, measuring a total extent of 4 acres and 8 cents situated at Kannivakkam Village, Vandalur Taluk, Chengalpattu District, the fourth respondent conducted an enquiry in C.No.467/DC-CCBTCP/Gen1/2024 on 06.11.2024. Pursuant to the same, a communication dated 29.01.2025 was sent to the fifth respondent calling for the relevant sale deeds, encumbrance certificates and fingerprint logs pertaining to the subject property. However, no further action has been taken by the fourth respondent thereafter. Hence, the present petition has been filed. 4.
Learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for respondents 1 to 5 submitted that a current paper enquiry is still pending on the petitioner's complaint and that the respondent Police will be able to complete the investigation at the earliest.

Advocate (Criminal Side), the Writ Petition Criminal stands disposed of with a direction to the Investigating Officer to complete the investigation in C.No.467/DC-CCB-TCP/Gen1/2024 in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
