This petition has been filed to condone the delay of 71 days in filing the appeal against the order made in W.C.(EC).No.59 of 2022 on the file of the Commissioner for Employees Compensation (Joint Commissioner of Labour-II) at Chennai dated 21.02.2025.

2.Ms.Ramya V.Rao, learned Counsel appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 did not raise any objection in allowing this petition. This court is satisfied with the reasons attributed in the affidavit filed in support of this petition. Hence, this petition is ordered.

3. The Registry is directed to number C.M.A.Sr.No.130215 of 2025, if it is otherwise in order, and list the same on 30.01.2026.

4. It is made clear that the petitioner will not be entitled for any interest for the default period, if in the event of this Court enhancing the amount of compensation fixed by the Tribunal.
