Heard Mr. A.Arokia Satheesh, Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and Ms. Sithara Sarangan, Learned Counsel, who takes notice for the Respondent, and perused the materials placed on record, apart from the pleadings of the parties.

The Writ Petition has been filed challenging the Order No. P-I/SIP-SPR/ Pasteur/2007 dated 05.09.2023 and 22.09.2023 passed by the Respondent levying penalty on the Petitioner for extension of duration of utilization of excess/unutilized land.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks permission of the Court to withdraw the Writ Petition reserving the rights of the Petitioner to seek extension of time by paying the penalty amount levied by the Respondent and he has made an endorsement to that effect in the court record. 2/4

In view of the same, the Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid clarifications. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. No costs.
