Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing respondents 4 and 5 to constitute a Special Investigation Team (SIT) headed by an officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to conduct a thorough investigation into the organized kidney trafficking network operating in Pallipalayam, Kumarapalayam, Namakkal district and surrounding areas, to Registrar the FIRs against the individuals in all aspects of the Kidney trafficking network including brokers, facilitators, medical professionals, and institutions and consequently to appoint a Retired High Court Judge of this Honourable court to monitor the functioning of the Special Investigation Team to ensure transparency, independence, and protection from any influence and subsequently to identify the victims of the said Kidney scam to provide a compensation amount of Rs.50,00,000/- to the each victims family by duly considering the petitioners representation 26.07.2025. (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The issue raised in this petition stands squarely covered by an order passed by a Division Bench of this Court at Madurai Bench, dated 25.08.2025, in the case of S.N.Sathishwaran vs. Chief Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu, wherein this Court has already directed a Special Investigation Team to be constituted to conduct investigation into the alleged organised kidney traffic network operating in the State of Tamil Nadu. Therefore, in view of the same, no further order is required to be passed in this petition.
