O R D E R
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the application for electricity service connection bearing Application No.200031200222249, dated 12.02.2022 and 200031200222250 dated 13.02.2022 to the petitioner's house bearing Plot No.48 and 49 Millennium Nagar, Saravanampatty, Coimbatore in accordance with provisions of Electricity Act, 2003 and extend the electricity service connection.
2. The petitioner claims that he has constructed a new house at Plot No.48 and 49, Millennium Nagar, Saravanampatty, Coimbatore. After completing the house constructed therein, the petitioner made an application to the respondent TANGEDCO on 12.02.2022 and 13.02.2022 seeking two separate service connections. The said applications since have not been considered despite, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner, having complied with all necessary requirements by producing the documents etc., the petitioner is triggered to approach this Court by filing the present writ petition.
3. Heard Mr.N.Senthilkumar, learned counsel appearing for the 2/5
petitioner who having reiterated the aforestated would seek indulgence of this Court.

Heard Ms.V.Revathy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent TANGEDCO who on instruction would submit that, the application submitted by the petitioner dated 12.02.2022 and 13.02.2022 would be considered in accordance with law and accordingly a decision would be taken within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and having regard to the said stand taken by the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent TANGEDCO, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following orders: That there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the application of the petitioner dated 12.02.2022 and 13.02.2022 and decide the same on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
