The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences under Section 296(b), 115(2), 118(1) and 351(3) of BNS, 2023, in Crime No.100 of 2025, seek anticipatory bail. Dr.G.JAYACHANDRAN, J.

The case of the prosecution is that a quarrel at a marriage function resulted in the the defacto complainant sustaining a serious head injury. Hence the present complaint.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police opposed the grant of bail to the petitioners and submitted that one of the accused has bad antecedents and is involved in other criminal cases. 4.
